Besides being absolutely adorable, Sarah and Nolan have a pretty great engagement story. Oddly enough their paths should have crossed several times prior but they actually met and spent time together while paired up in a mutual friends wedding.
After walking down the aisle together, they attended another wedding together and basically went from there. Nolan was stationed down south and Sarah stayed up in Colorado but that didn’t deter them. After spending weeks talking they finally made the leap and started dating - long distance.
Fast forward to a nerve wrecking dinner for Nolan, he took her to the Broadmoor for a fancy dinner and popped the question. Which of course Sarah said yes!! (She also had an inkling that it was happening that night but in true girlfriend fashion, refused to get her hopes up haha)
So here we are engaged and super freaking cute - and if you need more proof of that, here are their engagement photos ;-)

I met Sarah and Nolan at their reception venue, Rustic Lace Barn, and if you haven’t been there it’s freaking stunning. It’s basically a hidden Barn with beautiful chandeliers and lighting. The coordinators were both there and spent their day planning with Sarah and Nolan. They handle pretty much everything from timeline coordination to floral. If you haven’t yet, check it out. From there we went to Red Rocks Canyon Open Space.
Sarah and Nolan are a huge adventure couple hiking 14ers together and so it only seemed natural that they have their engagement photos in an Open Space. If you haven’t checked this one out - you have to! Just over the entrance ridges is a lake and gorgeous blooms.
Their wedding will take place at the iconic United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel which I have to admit, I am a pretty excited to photograph at. Can’t wait for their wedding in August!
