Elopements in Colorado are truly magical, especially when they involve such a sweet couple like Alycia and Joe from Wisconsin!

Joe proposed on the edge of a cliff at the top of Devil's Lake near Baraboo, WI after we did the exhausting 15 minute hike up rock stairs on the bluffs. It was the very end of fall when the weather was cold, but felt warm if you were exercising. I was tearing off my jacket and sweatshirt on the way up and Joe claimed to be "very comfortable" all bundled up. Turns out he was hiding the ring in his jacket pocket and secretly dying inside!!
