Hi All!

We just got back from a quick (and unexpectedly wild) camping trip near Mount Rushmore, and I couldn’t resist sharing a little peek into our family adventure before I dive headfirst into a packed wedding season!

If you know us, you know that we’re big fans of tent camping. There’s something grounding about unplugging, cooking over a campfire, and waking up under the trees. As a Colorado wedding photographer, I spend so much time capturing other people’s memories and it felt really special to slow down and make a few of our own.

We set up camp just minutes from the iconic Mount Rushmore at a phenomenal KOA and were soaking in all the beauty of the Black Hills. I brought along my camera (of course!) and snapped a few photos of the scenery, Mount Rushmore and my kiddos and my son captured the sweetest image: an out-of-focus shot of my husband and me. It’s not technically perfect, but it’s perfectly us, and I love it.

Unfortunately, the weather turned fast. A major storm rolled in with heavy rain and winds strong enough to flatten our tent! So, in true chaotic family-camping fashion, we packed up early and made the 5 hour drive home in the middle of the night. We were soaked, laughing, and making memories we won’t forget.

Now that we’re back (and dry!), I’m so excited to be stepping into a crazy busy June and July. From mountaintop ceremonies to chic city venues, I’ve got a full calendar of beautiful weddings coming up across the state. Whether you're planning a laid-back elopement in the Rockies or a glam wedding in downtown Denver, I’m ready to capture it all.

Being a Denver wedding photographer and traveling across Colorado for love stories is such a joy, and I can’t wait to see what this season brings.
