|| HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE YOUR STYLE?||
I love to shoot up close, natural and bright images. I try to stay away from extreme “fad” images so your wedding photos will stay classic and timeless for so many years to come. I edit in a film style using Lightroom and Photoshop.
|| WHY SHOULD WE PICK YOU?||
I tell everyone I speak to about their wedding day coverage that they need to like their photographer. Ha, it seems silly but you need to get along with this person for an entire day. If you like to laugh and have fun but get stuff done ;-) I’m your girl. I’m from the midwest where smiles and how are you’s go a long way. I’ve worked as a councilor for my brides, an additional bridesmaid when needed (hello? have you pinned a boutonniere or bustled a dress - I’ve done dozens!) and a shoulder to cry on. I’m assertive to get the shots you need but still kind to your eager guests who can’t wait to party with you!
|| WHEN DO WE GET OUR IMAGES? ||
Typical turn around time for wedding images is 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks is the guaranteed timeframe listed in your contract. Busier times of year will lean towards the 6 week time frame. You will get a few previews (2-6) during that timeframe and I usually give you a heads up they posted or tag you on Facebook or Instagram so don’t forget to follow me online!
For family sessions, newborn, maternity or engagement sessions this time frame is 2-3 weeks.
|| HOW DO WE GET OUR IMAGES?||
Your images will be delivered via digital downloadable album. A USB is included with my half and full day packages wedding packages and can be added on to any other session for an additional fee. Printing is also available through my professional lab.
|| CAN WE MEET BEFORE THE WEDDING?||
Absolutely! I include a consultation with all of my clients bookings and I'm available to answer any questions you may have along the way!
|| WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU WORK WITH?||
I shoot with Full Frame Nikon Professional equipment. The sun is my biggest light source but I utilize MagMod Lighting equipment as well when needed. I use a system referred to as off camera flash occasionally for dark areas and receptions. I have backups for my camera, lenses, and batteries. I shoot on a dual card system that backs up your images in camera.
|| WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE OUR WEDDING? ||
The initial payment/retainer is non refundable but transfers to another date within the same year. If it is for the next year, updated pricing would apply. An associate photographer may be utilized if I am booked for the changed date.
|| HOW MANY WEDDINGS HAVE YOU DONE? CAN WE SEE FULL GALLERIES? ||
I do approximately 25 - 35 weddings per year, full albums are available online at www.mollymargaretphotography.pixieset.com
|| ARE YOU INSURED + LICENSED ||
|| DO YOU OFFER POSED NEWBORN SESSIONS? ||
I offer in home, lifestyle newborn sessions. These are a much more natural, intimate styled session which takes place over an hour in your home. Please email me for rates and available times.
|| HOW MANY FAMILY MEMBERS CAN I BRING TO OUR SESSION? ||
Extended family rocks! Please let me know you have 5+ family members so I can plan accordingly, also extended family sessions such as these have an additional fee.
|| WHAT HAPPENS IF WE CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE OUR SESSION? ||
The retainer is non refundable but transfers to another date within the same year if I am available. If it is for the next year, updated pricing would apply. Reschedules are limited, one rescheduling has no fee, after this each reschedule will result in a $25 fee due immediately.
|| OK, WE ARE READY TO BOOK! NOW WHAT? ||
Yay! I'd love to work together! After you decide on a package and timeframe of coverage we will move forward with booking. You will pay an initial payment - retainer fee and sign a contract. For Weddings specifically you can choose from two payment plans:
Option One: Pay 50% at booking, remainder due 14 days prior to the wedding
Option Two: Pay 30% at booking, 30% 60 days later, remaining 40% 14 days prior to the wedding
Regular sessions are 50% initially, 50% due the day of.
|| WHERE CAN WE HAVE OUR PHOTOS TAKEN? ||
I have shot all over the Denver area and can certainly suggest some local parks, shopping areas or fields to photograph in - if you have an idea in mind let me know! Many areas in the state require a permit, please allow 2 weeks to obtain these and up to 35 days for mountain areas. Studios are also available for photo sessions - these range in fees of 50/hour to 200/hour. Mini Sessions are limited to the Thornton Area.
|| WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR? ||
I recommend comfortable, and coordinating clothing. Be sure to clean, iron and hang up your outfits the night before your session. Check out Pinterest for inspiration but remember to show your individuality - this is your about you! Let your personality show. Kiddos should have a backup shirt/pants in case of any accidents.
|| SHOULD I ADD A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER? ||
A second photographer is super beneficial to get coverage of your day and add to your final album. Here’s my suggested guide when it comes to deciding between one photographer or two:
1. Do you want more images of both of you during a first look, or your ceremony entrance? A second shooter can focus on your grooms reaction or your own and you really get both angles very well.
2. Are you and your groom getting ready in completely different spaces? A second shooter can capture your groom while I spend the morning with you!
3. Do you have a large cocktail hour or are guest candids very important to you? A second shooter can focus of your guests or details.
