9/1/20 Update

Hello again everyone! Since there have been still so many changes in this COVID-19 world, I just wanted to pop on and update my couples of their options with postponing, minimizing and canceling their weddings:

Rescheduling:

You do have options when it comes to your wedding day, I am not charging a fee to reschedule your wedding however going forward, weddings rescheduling to 2021 or subsequent reschedules (such as multiple date changes) may be subject to new rates which are now on my website via the investment pages if you’d like to review. I understand the hardship and cost of having to change your entire wedding day. If I can help ease this by updating your payment schedule to include an additional payment or changing dates of final payments, (still prior to the wedding date itself) let me know and we can come up with a good plan!

Reducing wedding day coverage:

While my contract does say that weddings cannot be changed to lower packages I am offering couples to reduce coverage by 2 hours in the case that you’ve changed the size or timeline of your wedding due to COVID.

Cancelling:

Cancellations due to COVID-19 will be subject to the same rules as a regular cancellation, the initial 50% of your package price is non refundable however it can be used up till the end of 2021 for portrait sessions, a different event should you reschedule, engagement photos etc.

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you’re thinking about your options and want or need more clarity! I try to get back to every email in a timely matter and I’m happy to set up phone calls to discuss as well :-) If you have dates in mind for rescheduling - keep me in the loop so I can share my available dates with you and we can coordinate. Should you pick a date I am already booked, I already have a great team of associates available to cover your big day while I will still handle all the editing and communication so nothing changes on your side :-)

I appreciate all my amazing couples and their understanding during these odd times!

8/3/20 Update

As we have now gotten to the other side of this pandemic where numbers of cases are still rising in Colorado, I am updating this post.

For upcoming weddings I will be asking the following questions, this is not to accuse couples of not following the rules or to be negative but to ensure that my couples, my team, myself and my future couples are as safe as possible during these difficult times.

How many guests have confirmed they'll be attending?

Will you have screenings set up for guests temperature checks?

Will guests be required to wear masks at all times or are there limitations?

Are events going to be outdoors or indoors? If it's a mix of both please clarify which will be which.

Will food be served via buffet or plated service?

What percentage (estimate) of guests are traveling from other states?

What steps are you/your venue/your coordinator taking to prevent the spread or exposure to COVID-19?

Events violating public health directives put myself, my team and my business at risk so thank you for working with me to ensure a safe and healthy 2020 wedding season. Any direct law violations at events will cause me to end services and exit the event, thank you for your understanding!

3/16/20 Update

I wanted to reach out regarding the ever growing COVID-19 concern and the impact it may have on your upcoming booking.

At this time, I am not cancelling any sessions, elopements or weddings. I will be practicing recommended steps which includes diligent hand washing and regularly cleaning my equipment before/after each session. I will absolutely honor bookings scheduled unless a mandate or illness makes it impossible to do so. So, if you choose to move forward with everything as planned - I’m with you 100%!

However, I do understand restrictions regarding travel, group gatherings and potential quarantine requirements. As such, I’d like to remind you of your options regarding rescheduling.

As noted in your contract, rescheduling your event does not come with any additional fees or change in rate as long as it takes place in 2020. In light of the situation, any booking impacted by COVID-19 can be rescheduled to 2020 or 2021 at the original contracted rate, subject to availability. If you have any intention of changing or altering the date of your upcoming booking please let me know as soon as possible so we can work on rescheduling to a date that works for everyone.

Hopefully this virus passes through with little impact to your booking but I am here if you have any concerns or want to chat! I may just trade my regular hug greetings for an overly eager wave ;-)

Thanks again for trusting me with your upcoming photography needs!
