There’s something truly magical about eloping in the Colorado mountains, and this Pass Lake ceremony on Loveland Pass was no exception. Surrounded by just a handful of their closest friends and family, this couple embraced the wild beauty of the day with the rain, wind, and all.
However, just when we thought the weather might dampen the mood, the sky broke open and gave us a full rainbow over the lake. It was like Colorado gave them a blessing of its own.

We just got back from a quick (and unexpectedly wild) camping trip near Mount Rushmore, and I couldn’t resist sharing a little peek into our family adventure before I dive headfirst into a packed wedding season!
If you know us, you know that we’re big fans of tent camping. There’s something grounding about unplugging, cooking over a campfire, and waking up under the trees. As a Colorado wedding photographer, I spend so much time capturing other people’s memories and it felt really special to slow down and make a few of our own.
